In addition Filc nonwoven materials are used as a support material or backing for various roofing membranes (PVC, TPO,…). Various membranes with nonwoven backing can be designed for mechanically fixation system or selfadhesive roofing applications. The nonwoven backing membranes are perfect for improving aesthetic appearance, better adhesion on different surfaces to which they are fixed and in some cases no additional insulation is needed.
Filc nonwowen textiles are calandered/thermofixed/thermobonded or with self-adhesive layer, individually designed to meet specific customer needs.
