Injection moulding

Nonwoven textiles are used together with plastic polymers in the tolls for thermal pressing. Their function is to protect the visible (decorative) side of the plastic part so that the glue or the melted polymer does not penetrate through the decorative finish. At the same time the layer of non-woven textile can work as a bonding layer which connects the plastic polymer carrier and the decorative finish material.
