Our responsibility to the environment

At Filc we run a clean production with no direct danger to the environment. We mostly process polyester and polypropylene fibres, which are not dangerous for health or the environment.

Our policy is:

• to comply with current environmental legislation
• to continuously lower the consumption of energy resources (electricity and natural gas) per unit output which we do by making constant improvements and usage of modern equipment
• emphasise to employees the importance of their own responsibility to contribute to cleaner environment
• to display and provide this policy to all employees and sub-contractors.
• to audit environmental and sustainability performance

Employees integration and social responsibility

Filc is a family friendly company which understands individual needs and encourages rich family life. Cooperation between coworkers is based on teamwork and understanding each others needs. All our employees are given an opportunity to continue with education in their field. In order to reduce health risks of our employees we promote healthy lifestyle by organizing sport events and providing a healthy choice meal in our canteen.

Filc also supports freewill activities in our comunity such as voluntary firemen and similar.

Occupational Health & Safety

In order to ensure safe workplace and minimize health hazards (accidents, occupational diseases) in the production and offices, appropriate safety measures are taken. Furthermore we strive to provide agreeable and healthy working conditions which contribute to overall satisfaction of our employees.
